A teacher, learner, and creator. Born and bred in Bay Area California, went to college in Washington DC, and ended up in Boston as a teacher at a deaf school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people and hospitality. I’ve been to so many places yet I’m still finding new things to experience. CS is an opportunity for me to continually push myself out of my comfort zone and grow. I’ll stop evolving when I’m dead.

Interests

Many! Traveling is my #1 passion, it’s when I feel grounded, even though I’m far away from my home. I guess I’m addicted to this feeling of novelty when visiting new places. I also love to look forward to my next trips, anticipating both the journey and destination.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books and books. I usually read fantasy and science fiction, but will pick up a variety of books if they’re recommended.

I also believe that the 80s and 90s movies are the greatest. Some 2000s were great, too. Nowadays we’re in a recycling phase 😝

Joined USA deaf sailing team to compete in international deaf sailing World Cup in 2022!
