I'm from upstate NY. I have a BFA in photography. I lived in Austin for a year, where I served in AmeriCorps. Then I moved back up north for a year long photo internship. I'm heading back down toTX to teach.

I'm just looking for some couches to stay on while I find an apartment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've lived in a co-op in Austin, TX for the past year that takes in a lot of couch surfers. I've met a lot of great people, and now I want to try out the other side of things.

Pseudoscience, mysticism, religious iconography, and the way moonlight comes through the trees when I can't sleep.

I'm an artist, but I wish I was a scientist. I like books about neuroscience and the future of human evolution. I watch a lot of sci-fi and documentaries.
My taste in music goes in waves, and right now it's a tide of Alela Diane, Timber Timbre, Phosphorescent, Bill Callahan, and the like.

I love those times when I'm the only one awake. Once, I slept in a bus station in Montreal. I woke up at 5am on a Sunday in June, and walked down to the river to watch the sunrise. It's amazing how still cities can get.
