About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To focus on the truths in different things rather than the differences in true things.

ABOUT ME

i love to laugh, smile, and have a good time. i love learning about and interacting with the world around me, and i love meeting new people. i love to draw and write but i don't do either often enough. i am always thinking and questioning... i see life as a kind of puzzle and i'm trying to put all the pieces together. i am somewhat of a homebody but i love doing new things, and if you have something to show me, tell me, or teach me, i am ready and willing to listen and learn!

PHILOSOPHY

"live and let live"

i learned these words from the most important man in my life, my dad. i've grown up learning the importance of keeping an open heart and mind to everyone i meet and everything i do. leave your judgements at the door and let everybody be free to do what they wish and act as they please!

Music, Movies, and Books

i recently read house of leaves and was amazed by it (i plan on reading it again soon). i love everything by elizabeth bishop, doctor suess, and shel silverstein. i won't lie, i'm not a big reader, but once i pick up a good book i can't put it down.

i love all kinds of music, from country to rock and roll to hip hop to ethnic. right now i'm listening to a lot of 90's music, but if you can turn me onto something great, i will definitely appreciate it.

and as for movies, i LOVE comedies and thoughtful films (be they foreign, suspense, drama, whatever). i love anything or anyone that can make me laugh, and anything or anyone that helps me see the world in a different way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

recently when i was in hawaii i saw some baby turtles crawling out of the black sand and waddling towards the ocean. i was astounded by this phenomenon of nature and the inborn instinct that those little animals have to find their place in this world!
