About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Here's a better question: what's YOUR mission?

ABOUT ME

Me and my friends did the whole 'describe so-and-so in 3 words' malarkey: apparently, I am "enthusiastic, hungry and laugh-y" (that last one is most definitely not a word, but they couldn't think of anything better)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was living in Ghent, the house I was living in played host to a few couchsurfers and it was really fun, so I just thought it'd be cool to carry on the good experiences. Who wouldn't want to dance around (badly) in pyjamas with an Italian you don't really know from Adam?

Interests

I very much enjoy cooking and baking, and then proceeding to eat up the results. I like finding out about people (some people would call it nosy, but that sounds horribly negative) and generally talking 'til the cows come home. Going on bike rides in the sun, travelling to places I've never been, running around on beaches and splashing about in the sea. Meeting up with friends, going to concerts and festivals. Just the normal stuff, I guess

Music, Movies, and Books

The best films ever are the Back to the Future films (the third is without question the worst one-it's still good though), followed very closely by Home Alone 1 and 2. Clearly, I have very sophisticated tastes. Music-wise, I'll listen to anything really, I'm not fussy. My all-time favourites are Muse, Ella Fitzgerald, The Maccabees, Noah and the Whale and The Beach Boys. I am also partial to a bit of Take That. I'm not a big reader, but Lord of the Flies is one I can read again and again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the coolest thing was when I went in a helicopter in New Zealand. AND I got to drive the thing. Awesome
