Taking my gap year, a little late, but loving exploring the world in many different ways and figuring out more about myself.

ABOUT ME

I usually work for 2 years and then take 6 months off to backpack. 4 years ago I headed to South America and moved to Australia after where I was sponsored and loved living for 2.5 years. I've since packed everything up and am slowly making my way back to California where I plan to start a business connecting people through common interests while supporting and promoting local small businesses. Who knows if it will work but I'm willing to take a year off thinking and then giving it a go!

PHILOSOPHY

If there isn't a sign that says you can't do it, then you can. The person who wins the life race is the one with the most memories and experiences. If you mind tells you why not, then really WHY NOT? Do, see, touch, taste and smell all of the world that you can!

I have done the tourist thing and at this point I am interested in meeting people in the places I visit and see how they really live. If that involves a party, sitting in a park, meal out or good chat I'm up for it all!

Events, music, food, books, wine, cheese, food, photography, exploring, the beach, any form of water, hiking, riding bikes, scuba diving, swimming, concerts, good company, family and friends, making new friends, helping others and fermenting drinks and veggies.
