Hi everyone, I'm Megumi.

It's been a while since I last used Couch Surfing, as I got super busy with my job.
I currently live in Kobe and work as a staff of Slow Food Interntional - a non-profit organization rooted in Italy.

I was a student of Universita degli studi di Scienze Gastronomiche, so-called Slow Food university. i.e. I love food and have hope for its better system.

I'm always enthusiastic about food.
I'm always happy when there's good food, drink(more likely booze), and people.
I love talking with people, knowing things that I haven't known.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To see things through eyes of people who I interact with, both when I'm on a trip and hosting in my living area. I think it's a better way of learning rather than just staying at a hotel and visiting touristic places.

Subscribing Netflix, it's amazing that I spend so much time watching. Sigh.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're interested in Japanese culture, language, or whatever, I'm happy to tell you all that I know. Also- I can be your practice partner in Korean. I'm not professional but fluent enough.

I love to know people's life histories. I'd probably ask too much about you when we meet, but it means I'm interested in you.
