ABOUT ME

i'm a little bit of a nerd and a little bit shy, although my close friends would tell you that i'm not shy (whatever, they don't know what they are talking about). i'm introverted but ALSO i like to go out with friends. i tend to have difficulty making new friends, but once you are my friend it will be difficult for you to get rid of me. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. :P i like to dance, go to the pub, go to the restaurant, go for a walk or whatever. i am not great at being outgoing and making plans, but if someone else is being outgoing and making plans for fun things to do and inviting me, i love to be around that and enjoy the benefits of that.

PHILOSOPHY

i think we are all different yet all similar. i love learning as much as i can about the human nature. i want to live my life without fear and regret or self consciously worrying about what others think (it's a work in progress). also i believe in the golden rule of treating others as you want to be treated (also a work in progress). i try to be as kind to everyone as i can. i try to be as sincere as i can (sometimes this is difficult because i want everyone to like me, so if they tell a joke that is not funny sometimes i will still laugh, sorry about that).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never technically participated in anything couchsurfing related. however, i'm now ready to participate!!!! unfortunately i can't host people right now, but i definitely want to meet as many new people as possible. i moved to Sallent on 24/9/13 i no hablo Espanol o Catala! Please invite me and my fiance for a beer or a coffee or dinner or whatever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

once i was invited to a party in budapest by someone i did not meet through couch surfing, and then when i got there i heard that it was a couchsurfing party. i had a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: foreign films, critically acclaimed films, horribly cheesy films that are so bad that they're actually good, dramas--i'm kind of a movie snob but i will watch anything. music--stuff that i can dance to or chill to. books: i like reading stuff on bestseller lists and also i try to read classics for my own cultural and intellectual advancement!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have been fortunate in my ability to travel to sweden, mexico, the caribbean, uganda, tanzania, italy, ukraine, hungary, the netherlands, romania, bosnia i hercegovina, and poland. i moved to croatia without ever having been there except for driving through to bosnia i hercegovina, so i guess that means i'm amazing! or crazy... both?
