I just finished studying international relations in France and I'm willing to discover other parts of the world, different cultures and meet people. I think regular tourism doesn't make for a satisfactory experience abroad, so I think the approach of Couchsurfing is perfect to get the most out of a trip: meet interesting people, share their everyday life, be a part of it -- instead of staying at a hotel with only tourists.

I will never forget that sunrise in Merzouga, at the doors of the Moroccan desert. After nearly one hour of walking up and down the sand dunes, seeing the elegant shadows and beautiful colors cast by this blazing disc on the horizon that unfolded minute after minute was a marvelous experience.
