About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a very relaxed guy who's usually down for just about anything. I love all things active and meeting new and interesting people. Some say I'm all over the place and have too much going on, I say there is too much to see in the world to not try to be everywhere at once! My philosophy is to take advantage of how every day can make you happier and this has yet to disappoint me!

Interests

I spend most of my time out and about, seeing new things and exploring any environment I may be in. I love to bike, skateboard, play soccer, run and lift weighs. But I'm also not opposed to a chill evening of music or movies or campfire stories! I like to engage myself in a variety of cultures and subcultures and I do this actively by attending events and practicing different languages and ways of life with the people I meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences of my life was visiting the NASA space centre when I lived in Houston as a young boy. I got to witness, in person, the very instruments that man used to first exit our atmosphere and explore the moon. Space and physics are huge interests of mine and I will never forget that experience.

Another one of my favourite trips was to the bathhouses of Northern Africa. Being born in Algeria, I was a day trip away from tunisia, the northernmost country of Africa, for a large part of my childhood. One year, while visiting back, my family and I decided to make a trip to Tunisia, the bordering country to Algeria, and visit the natural hot springs and bath houses. These bathhouses were an amazing sight to me because as a kinesiology student I had always admired and was curious about the Roman bathhouses, little did I know that the Roman influence manifested so strongly into northern Africa. Some other remote spots in Algeria and Tunisia were a real delight to see and I feel that it is unfair to even attempt to explain their beauty in writing!
