Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, I love traveling and the diversity in all of the different cultures around the world. I'd really like to meet a lot of different people from all around the world and learn about their habbits and lifestyle.

I think couchsurfing gives me an amazing chance to realize that: Traveling and meeting al kinds of different people!

Interests

Obviously, I love traveling; I have been to quite a few countries, but there are countless more countries I'd love to visit! Some of my favorite countries and vacations I have been to include going to Vancouver, Canada in the winter, traveling all the way to Fort St. John in the snow. Also, I loved the charity I did in Curacao (a small island near the Caribbean) where we worked on a school in the morning and relaxed at the beach in the afternoon. I' ve met some amazing people during my trips and I'd love to meet more!

I also really love to work out, so I can keep my body in shape, because I love food haha! I work out about 4 times a week where I lift weights. Also, I cycle a lot, but since it was winter just a month ago I really need to start cycling again! But I am planning a 1200 km trip coming april and may so that shouldn' t be a problem.

Movies are love, movies are life! I have always loved watching movies. When I was young I was secretly watching the Lord of the Rings while my parents didn' t notice and from that moment I have been completely hooked! So much so, that I really want to work in the movie industry; I dont even really care what. If I can bring Peter Jackson or Steven Spielberg a cup of coffee every 10 minutes, I am more than happy to do so!

But more importantly, I really like people and their stories and experiences. I work at a restaurant, because I am interested in my guests and what they have to say!
That means that I am interested in your story and what you have done with your live!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy listening to music. In general, I enjoy most kinds of music, but there are some genres that I particularly enjoy. Such as, House and Calm Piano Music (since I used to play the piano). But, I am open to all kinds of different music, so if you know a really good song, please share it with me!

As I have mentioned before, I really do enjoy watching movies and TV series. Currently I am really into Game of Thrones, Suits and House of Cards. I like it when a series has depth, good developed characters and a brilliant script. When it comes to movies I love the Lord of the Rings, the Last Samurai, Memento, Se7en and so much more !

I have stopped reading books a long time ago, which is a shame and I am currently contemplating in starting to read them again. I actually went to a library and bought Game of Thrones. So, I might star

Movies and series are my favorite! Gotta say I love adventure, thrillers and action, but I'm in for everything!
