I am Meher TOUIHRI, Tunisian student who's been living in Europe for four years.
I am currently an Intern. I study mechanical engineering. I am fluent in French English and Arabic and I have good knowledge of the german language.
I love to travel and meet international people. I am also a musician, I play guitar and sing. I am an open person, calm, energetic and full of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to meet travelers and get inspired by their stories and share nice talks about the difference we have, the cultures we've "experienced". I also want to start travel my self and meet nice people from the cities i'll be visiting

Interests

Music is my main Passion. I have been playing guitar for more than 12 years. I played in several bands and I participate in Jam sessions whenever I can. I like to go to concerts or watch live music in bars.
I like to travel, meet international people and share a nice talk with them about cultures, arts, politics, religions...
I like to read as well, watch movies or TV shows when I have some free time.

I like everything that involves Blues and rock music. Then I also like irish music, Jazz and Pop. My favourite artists are: John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Ed Sheeran, Dream Theater, George Benson.
For movies it would be: The Shawshank redemption and The curious Case of Benjamin Button
For books I would say: "on the road" by Jack Kerouac

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What I accompllished musically: 7 Years ago I auditioned for a great Guitar festival in Tunis and I got to play with great musicians from all over the world in the same stage and shared awesome memory, then here in Germany, in Dresden, I participated to jam sessions that made me part of this lovely and unbelievably talented community of musicians in this town. Through Music, Dresden is my second home and its musicians are my second family.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar, Tunisian cooking and on the same time I wanna learn more about music and cooking as well as Languages and cultures.
I wanna share all my experiences, anything I'd be asked about, having lived in three different countries (France Germany and Tunisia) helped me being very open to the nice international people that I meet everyday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would appreciate to share dinners and drinks with my hosts, as well as walks around the city and discover everything again through their eyes.
