About Me

I value meaningful connections and am looking to host those who genuinely resonate with my interests and outlook. I'm seeking meaningful connections with like-minded individuals who value deep conversations, creative collaboration, and shared experiences. If you're only after a free stay, this won't be the right fit. Let’s start by getting to know each other - whether it’s over a glass of wine or a stroll through the city. If we click, I’d be happy to welcome you into my home for a shared adventure.🏠

𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍

I’m on a creative journey, crafting my life through poetry and video-poetry. I would love to connect with fellow creatives or deep thinkers to exchange ideas and perhaps even collaborate. If you have a passion for creativity, perhaps our paths should cross.

𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗠𝗘

I consider myself a poet, an anarchist, a lover of deep. I hate any form of state, system, society current or existed, I don't allow racism, classes, hierarchies, servility, hypocrisies, falsehoods, brutalizations, vulgarity; I don't believe in TV, star-system, internet, social media, labor, wars, politics, sports, ideological alignments, non-profits, humanitarian aid, self-made-man, charitable, party, etiquette statements, alternative societies, faiths, apodictic theories; I find great bullshit the church, university, school, shopping malls, rave parties, influencers, pubs, discos, contests, sexual orientation, stores, notionalism, the military, boundaries, time. I only seek the beauty, passion, courage, strength, sensitivity.

I’m a literature teacher and poet at heart, deeply connected to nature and the arts. I believe in fostering change, both in the classroom and in the world around me. It's my way of making a difference, one classroom at a time.

Florence is where I was born, but the countryside shaped who I am. And now for the moment I live in Rome. My dream? A home by the sea, filled with animals, children, and the laughter of life well-lived.

My life has been marked by both successes and failures, but I always find the strength to pick myself up and keep going. I've explored themes of globalization and immigration in my academic studies, but my true education comes from a lifelong connection with nature and art.

𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: I’m diving into the complex issues of immigration and the crisis of nation-states, but my heart belongs to poetry.

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: There’s something magical about caring for plants and animals. I also enjoy making preserves for winter—a way of preserving not just food, but memories.

𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: Horses have been my companions for as long as I can remember.

𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: I deeply value authentic human connections and cherish moments of genuine understanding.

𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: My parents were both passionate about art, my mother taught art and my father was an artist, I spent my entire childhood in galleries, artists' studios, exhibitions and museums so disco and Luna park I'm not sure what are them.

Now when I'm not preparing my lessons I spending time visiting galleries, attending exhibition openings, and enjoying performances at the theater.

Life has taught me to embrace both the highs and the lows, and through it all.

If my profile resonates with you, send me the word 'revolution' in your request. That way, I'll know you’re truly in tune with my spirit of questioning and adventure.✨

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲:

Though I might seem a bit of a hermit, but if you scroll my old shoulder I’m always up for a spontaneous adventure or a cozy/crazy evening with deep conversation. I’m a bit of a paradox: I can be wild and passionate, minimal and rural but I appreciate a lot the quiet, lonely moments and in somehow I’m drawn to the superfluous: I prefer sleep outside but buy good wine, luxury perfumes and old books, things that might seem unnecessary but add richness to life.

For those into astrology, I’m an Aquarius, with Libra ascendant, Moon in Aries, Venus in Capricorn, and Mars and Saturn in Scorpio, always searching for intellectual freedom and authenticity in relationships, with the passion of an Aries moon and the depth of Scorpio influences. Each sign a piece of the puzzle that makes me who I am.

𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗬

I believe in living fully in the present, guided by love and open-mindedness. My philosophy is simple—reject superficial labels, embrace authenticity, and always seek out beauty in the world around us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Update 2023

I haven't been on CS since 2017 and the community has now increased tenfold and changed a lot, no one reads the profiles anymore, the typology that exists now is different, everyone talks about "vibes" and "connections" but in reality they are all looking for a hostel to sleep for free. And they also want wifi, washing machine, food. Relationships have become disposable; people as things and relationships as forms of consumption.

I even slept on the floor for the grand heat, while my host was left with the air-conditioned bed and that was the thanks I got, she leaves a negative reference, because I had to leave the house too early or because unexpected commitments came up. Will I be free in my house or do I have an obligation towards you? Those I hosted then didn't even leave me a reference. Given these changes, my house, my rules.

I joined CS to meet like-minded souls. With age comes perspective, and I look at the struggles of younger generations with a mix of nostalgia and tenderness. They think they’re on the brink of something extraordinary they don't know that they are following exactly the same path as everyone else and with age instead of supinely accepting the mental illnesses of you capitalists, I have started to select.. But now that the community has grown it is not the same, there are only people who scrounge a place to sleep for free and are not looking for friendship and moments to share. So if we have nothing to share, why should I host you in my house!? CS for me is an opportunity to meet new people, explore together and enrich each other. If you are just looking for a place to sleep without sharing time together, this is probably not the right place for you. So write this sentence inside your request and I'll understand that you read my profile: "I try to destroy this fucking capitalist system!" I don't care if you are in a hurry, I could tell you organised, but the truth is that the hurry does not exist, it is only in your head and a type of anxiety that you must learn to manage, because it goes against human relationships.

I like organizing outings, even more adventures, cooking together and discussing interesting topics. If you think so too, I will be happy to host you.

While some misuse platforms like CS, I’m here for genuine, meaningful connections. If we vibe well, who knows where our journey together could lead?

𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄

Here are a few snapshots from when I was 25, reflecting some of the memorable experiences that have shaped me. While I’ve grown and evolved since then, these moments still hold a special place in my heart. I’ve continued to build on these experiences they tell my story - one that values character over appearances. I’m drawn to authenticity and despise anything insincere.
