I’m Mehi, and I live with my husband Ashwin, in Bombay. We are a photographer and a product designer duo. We love to explore different cultures, learn new languages, talk about history and art and meet new people from different parts of the world.

When we are in Bombay, we accept guests for 1-2 nights, depending on the availability. We can offer a mattress in our living room, in an area close to the airport and 5 mins from the train station, yet in a quiet locality.

We want to travel the world and avoid the cliches of doing so- by being as local as we can. We would love to meet you, try to speak to you in your language, break bread with you, and teach you something about our own culture. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had the fortune to stay with the locals whenever I have traveled. It’s the best! You can’t get to know a country well unless you know the locals.

Me and my husband are traveling to Europe, and the most important thing for us is to meet locals and break bread with them!
