Hi everyone, I'm student at Galatasaray University in Faculty of Law. So I live in Istanbul, Turkey with my friends. Because my family lives in Ankara. I wanted to study law because I'm interested in social sciences, human rights, culture, history. But don't think I'm geek or nerd. I'm also interested in nature sport such as orienteering and hiking. For example in high school, I participated in national orienteering competitions with my friends. Also in 2015 I participated in Istanbul Marathon. I love nature also. after I starting university I bought bicycle so during weekend, I go to hiking or camping generally with my bicycle. Also I like football, basketball, tennis and swimming

So I want to meet with local guys for discovering new culture and understanding them. Also I'm on couchsurfing for accommodation:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spend a day in Sahara desert. When I was in Morocco, I went to Merzouga for Sahara trip. I rode a camel into Sahara desert for 2 hours in more than 45 degrees. I had a dinner with berberian guys. I listened their traditional music, I slept under the thousands of stars. I woke up early and watched sunrise. It was very remarkable experience for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like these words; "teach", "learn", "share". "Teaching" is very important because after our birth we start to learn. Our parents are our first teachers. I learned a lot of things until starting to school. But most important one is moral. Teachers are very important in culture. "Learning" is as important as teaching. But first you have to desire to learn. Like Henry Ford said; Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young. But "Sharing" is most important because all of us have their own ways, own values, own ideas, own thoughts. And we are just here to share our own ways. We should share because we will learn understanding by sharing. Otherwise we will always have some prejudices. Understanding and dialogue are very important nowadays.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Traveling experience, History of Turkey, Lifestyle, politics, life values, my point of view in life
I'm from Turkey and I live in Istanbul. For more than 1,500 years Istanbul has been one of the world’s most important cities. It has survived many rulers, undergone several name changes, and, due to its strategic location, has long been at the heart of trade between Europe and Asia. There is very big cultural diversity in Istanbul. While the majority of the population are Muslims, it's a mix of cultures and backgrounds fused together in one city. It has a mix of Jewish, Greek and Armenian populations. It is a city where one can truly experience Middle Eastern and Western cultures all at once.
What I can offer to you is not material things, but something that you will learn about new culture. As I said sharing is very important so by this way know, we will understand each other. Another thing that I could offer to my host is my traveling experiences. I've visited North America, Africa, Europe and Asia.
