Music, Movies, and Books

Wide interest in music, but I play classical music and so my favourites are classical (both Western and Eastern), opera, and experimental / sound art. World folk music is also wonderful.

Movies: mostly foreign films like Tarkovsky, Kiarostami, Parajanov and Gatlif. Kubrick is another favourite.

Books: Mostly non-fiction on nature (especially botany), culture, art history, quantum theory...Also a huge admirer of poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled to Positano Italy to meet a poet who had been living in the mountains nearby for 45 years.
