One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Presenting my research paper at an international conference in Thailand was an incredibly rewarding and enriching experience. It was an opportunity to share my work with a global audience, learn from other researchers, and gain insights into different cultures and perspectives. The conference was held in Bangkok, and I had the chance to explore the city and visit its famous temples and markets. The highlight of the trip, however, was presenting my paper and engaging in discussions with other scholars from around the world. The feedback I received helped me refine my research and see it in new ways. I also learned a lot from the other presentations and discussions, and I left feeling inspired and motivated to continue my work. Overall, it was a great opportunity to connect with other academics and to be part of a global community of researchers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a traveller staying with hosts, I believe it's essential to contribute to the experience by sharing different aspects of myself. I can share my cultural background with hosts, including language, customs, and traditions. I enjoy introducing hosts to my favourite foods or music from my country and explaining the history behind them. Additionally, I have experience in teaching and mentoring, so I can offer to help my host improve their language skills or provide guidance in other areas.
Another thing I can share with hosts is my hobbies and interests. For example, I love hiking and photography and enjoy sharing those activities with others. I'm always open to trying new things, so I'm happy to participate if my host has any hobbies they'd like to share with me.
I also believe that sharing experiences is essential. I love hearing about my host's travels and sharing my own stories and insights. This can be a great way to connect and learn from one another.
Lastly, I'm always happy to help my host in any way I can. Whether helping with tasks around the house or offering assistance with work-related projects, I want to show my gratitude for their hospitality and make the stay as enjoyable as possible.
Overall, I believe that sharing different aspects of myself with hosts can make for a more meaningful and memorable travel experience.
