I was born and raised in Kaohsiung, Taiwan as a pretty studious and regular person, until I studied abroad for 9 months in the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon (Uh-huh). It changed my life, and my life has been crazier and crazier ever since. I'm not planning on tuning it down anytime soon, or ever.

I really believe in the Couchsurfing community and a lot of friends that I would call good friends were made through this community. My partner, Evan, and I have been active in hosting and surfing since 2009, and we were the organizers of the Couchsurfing meetup in Kaohsiung, Taiwan for around 2 years (2013-2014).

I lived in the US for around 4 years until I started to work remotely in 2018. I have been working remotely for around a year, and I took this chance to see Southeast Asia, Canada, and I intend to see the whole Americas!

I love to be around people and I love hearing all about what they are willing and have time to share with me. I have almost no secrets and I love people who can be as open to me!

I like to talk about educations in different countries and how they affect kids as they grow up. I also like to talk about learning languages and share funny/intense stories about culture shock, language barriers and misunderstandings. I love cooking a good meal for my hosts, with some wine or some beer. :) I can teach you Mandarin Chinese, and I would like to learn your language, your cultures, and your life stories!
