Hi my name is Mei-lin Oomes and I'm 22 years old. I grew up in Tilburg, the south of The Netherlands. I'm a positive person that's like to be active and learn things. I love to make illustrations, paintings, weave, knit, and work with other kinds of textile forms. I'm always busy creating things. I'm very open-minded person and like to challenge myself in. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and to be outside visiting cultural places like museums. But also a good walk in nature gives me a clear and happy mind.

I’m currently hopping around in Asia. The purpose of this long travel is to gain life experience. I want to learn from other cultures, the way they approach life. What I miss in Dutch society is the connection with our spiritual side. And the way we see nature is more superficial. So I really want to learn more about the eastern approach of meditation, mindset, health, and diet. I hope meeting new people will give me nieuw connections with the culture and beautiful friendships.
