ABOUT ME

Fun-loving, adventurous, open-minded, multi-cultural, fitness-oriented! Wanderlust is my middle name.

Languages, dancing, karaokeing, eating, and traveling are my passions. I come from a very diverse background. My mother is half Chinese-Filipina and my father is German-American. This is why I fell in love with learning about different cultures and languages. I just graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Linguistics, and then from Universidad de Alcalá de Henares in Spain with a MA in Bilingual Education.

I love to laugh, sometimes too much. I also love puns! I am a self-proclaimed cook (ketogenic/ paleo lifestyle anyone?)

I love encouraging people to challenge themselves and in return challenging me. I am not a trend setter, but I think it is important to lead and to teach by example. I appreciate criticism as long as it is meant to be helpful and constructive rather than hurtful and destructive.

There may be billions of people in the world, but I believe each person has their unique style to give to the world and leave a lasting impression, not a legacy.
