About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Promoting change for the welfare of Asia

ABOUT ME

I run a nonprofit organization that promotes student formation and well-being at some of the top universities in China. I also lead the Catholic community graduate fellowship at Stanford University. To round out my volunteer activities, I also work part-time as a rape crisis counselor and organize social events for graduate students at Stanford.

To earn money to support myself, I do web design, graphic design, and independent research.

PHILOSOPHY

To live a life worthy of your calling. Do your best in all that you do and you will reach your personal potential. Love your neighbor as yourself. Pray in all things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I provide travel ideas and local area histories of places I've been and where I'm currently living. I've been to almost twenty countries and territories and nearly as many states in the U.S. When I'm not working, I'm also open to hanging out or joining you in your explorations of the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In order to be able to devote myself to my nonprofit, I currently exist as a couch surfer (independently) and am looking forward to seeing what new experiences CouchSurfing.org will provide.

Interests

I enjoy church, dancing, running, the outdoors, and music.

*Music*
A bit of everything, especially if I can dance to it (including lyrical)
*Books*
The Bible (yeah, it may seem cliche, but it's not. Try it for yourself - you'd be amazed at how refreshing and insightful you find the Bible, whatever your initial thoughts might be.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled around Cambodia with a troupe of Spanish musicians who sang Spanish ballads and played their guitars as we rode through Siem Reap's temple ruins in motorized tuk tuks.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love others, really. This means thinking of the welfare of others before yourself, in all your thoughts and actions. Live your life fully - share, explore, give. When you give of yourself, you are rewarded in so many ways. And when you strive to reach your potential in life, you will find strength and confidence in knowing that you have given your best.
