ABOUT ME

Born and bred in Shenzhen, China, the mainland city on the north of Hong Kong. Went to college in Wuhan. Exchanged in Amsterdam. Now at grad school in LA.

Tried to hit as many roads as I can while exchanging in Europe(and skipping classes).

I read poetry and play scripts when depressed;
use a X-700 Minolta manual camera everywhere I travel;
practiced Taekwondo for 5 years;
used to play piano, now some keyboard.

Movies: well I go to film school. 'd love to see any movie with anyone.

Music: folk, blues and OSTs of any kind.

Books: H2G2, DFW, Raymond Carver, poetry, play/film scripts, chinese contemporary, anything film-related.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

Things could teach: some practical phrases in Mandarin and Cantonese, cook you a chinese dish, sing you a chinese song or more, and ANYTHING I know.

Things love to learn: put up a tent, a nice drink you would recommend, sing a traditional song in your language, a folklore from your country and ANYTHING you would kindly offer.

Sth to share: I'll always bring my host a little present from either China or last destination when surfing.
Chinese courtesy: never show up empty handed.
