ABOUT ME

Well, my name is Mia - at least most people call me so - and I am a 24yo half german half slovak, so to say European girl.

I always try my best and I am honest and direct. Therefore I find it difficult to get along with superficial people and I am not someone who goes out partying every night - I prefer it much more to have a cosy evening with friends at home, which does of course not mean that I won't go clubbing from time to time.

And I've spent a semester abroad in England and fell in love with the place right away :-)

Right now I'm studying for my state exam, so quite busy with uni but I'm trying to get out of town as much as possible as I love to be on the road!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't do much for couchsurfing, as I live in an university housing, which does not allow me to have any guests over night. However I will be very pleased to meet people for a hot chocolate or a cocktail somewhere in this beautiful city of Hamburg...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to Paris with couch surfing ages ago and I've met some really cool couch surfers from around the world in Hamburg, but I've never really had the time to go out and travel in the last couple of years (although I love to do so!) so I don't have many experiences or references...

Okay, I know that this is soo girlish but for movies I really like those teen flicks people normally stop watching when they turn 16, and of course everything which has to do with dance.

As for books, I like to read novels, fantasy and historical fiction or drama. The last book I read was written by Walter Moers, but I also like authors like Allen Ginsberg, Ken Follett or Jo Nesbø. But of course, this is not a final verdict and I am convinceable of reading nearly everything that is well written.
