Hello! I'm Mei Mei Chu but you can call me Mei. I am a solo backpacker and, at the risk of sounding cliche, journal my travel stories on my blog www.meimeichu.com.

Travelling is my post-graduate education. I'm love travelling not only because I'm addicted to adventures, but I also love meeting new people and discovering cultures I had never known before. As a writer, I love unearthing stories in people (it's an occupation hazard). So while I may sometimes be awkward in big parties, I love engaging people in intimate conversations about life, travel, dreams, and everything in between.

I'm pretty easy going and open minded, the kind who prefers to get lost exploring a city instead of ticking off major tourist sites. Tea over coffee; dogs over cats (but I like cats too). My mother has also trained me to be clean and considerate of people's homes, and I love spontaneous adventures!

And more importantly, I'd love to get to know you :)
