I enjoying growing and cooking healthy food for people. I want to become a midwife and enjoy being with and listening to other people. I want to help others in the world. I am working on becoming more generous and honest in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just starting to figure this network out. I would love to have people from other places come and stay with me and when I return home would like to open up my couch to them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have heard a lot about it, but I have never officially couch surfed before. I've spent a summer in a co-op in California and have camped out on the couches and floors or many friend's homes. I'm pretty flexible and I enjoy being part of other people's lives and learning form it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two months volunteering in Haiti teaching English to about 5 students. It was my first teaching experience and first travel to a developing country which was far from uneventful. I saw everything from political and civil unrest to a voo-doo ceremony to a lot of historical sites. It is quite a place.
