I am Rike from Berlin Germany. I grew up in Friedrichshain, the eastern part of the city, now I live in Neukölln, which relates to the former west. I studied communication design, now my profession is senior grafic designer. In my last job I used to design fairs and exhibitions, I am also an expert in corporate design. But there is more to life than work. So I decided to make a brake and take a time off. 

I spend 3 month in Asia after I got my diploma in 2009 but then I traveled as a classic backpacker, I missed the real contact to locals. In 11th grade I stayed one year in the USA as high scool student, there I could gain an inside. After I finished I did a 5 week trip threw California with my mother. We were travelling with Servas, which is similar to couchsurfing and I liked it a lot, so I thought this time I will trie it again ,)

I love art, design, photography, music, nature and traveling. In my leisure time I play drums, I like to go to yoga class or in the park, cooking with friends, read a book or go to an exhibition.

I am characterised by thoughtfulness, broad-mindedness and creativity.
