I've been in some couch surfing activities in Houston, Tx while I was living there.
I also went on a road trip with some CSurfers from Portland, Or to San Francisco, CA.

I've surfed a lot of my friends couches but being an official couchsurfer I have no experience. I hope I'm gonna have experience as soon as possible.
