ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Meir, I'm a software developer living in Ramat Gan really close to Tel Aviv.

I'm always happy to meet new people and hang out, and learn new things.

I currently can't host but I'd love to hang out, weekends are when I'm most available, but weekdays can work in the evening.
Depending on where I'm spending that weekend, we can hang out in Tel Aviv or in Haifa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people from other cultures, travel, hang out, and have fun.
Meeting new people while travelling on Couchsurfing has been an amazing experience and in the end it's what becomes the best part of trips.

Interests

I have an interest in linguistics and language learning so I'm always happy to learn something about your language, share something about mine, or speak and improve if you speak a language I have enough experience with. I managed to learn quite a bit of Russian so I can speak it to a degree and would love to improve.
I also learned little bit of German and a littler bit of Japanese and would love to learn more.

When travelling I like wandering about, seeing the architecture of cities, getting a drink at a bar, hiking in nature, and seeing ruins.

I'm also interested in music, I play classical guitar and have a small collection of instruments.

Also recently I've been quite passionate about bouldering which is climbing low walls of 3m-4m without rope, so if you like that sort of thing I'd love it if you joined me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of music, instrumental music, covers that take songs to new directions, and all the rest from many genres such as Rock, Funk, Metal, Pop, Classical, etc.

I like many films, Tarantino films for example.

And fantasy books like the Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire series and Brandon Sanderson.
