Overview
About Me
I joined couch surfing when I was travelling 'round the world from 2010 - 2012. I had some amazing experiences and love the idea, ethos, and functionality of the sit, and the friendliness and wonderful hospitality of the people I have met.
I am now settled back in my hometown on Bristol, working on getting a couch available for couch surfers. I am working full time for the NHS in a psychological therapy service, about to embark on the PWP training program.
I am friendly and quite laid back, I love chatting with people about travelling and countries and places we've visited. I also enjoy theatre and cinema, dinner parties, hiking, and currently lots of DIY!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have just re-kindled my couch surfing and re-vamped my profile as I will be undertaking the PWP training at Exeter uni as part of my job but travel and accommodation are un-funded and although I will not need to stay over very often there are 1 or 2 dates I will need to.
Also me and my partner are doing up our house so hopefully it shouldn't be too long before I can accept guests and learn couch surfing from t'other side!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am quite mixed with my tastes, easy for music I listen too and enjoy discovering new music. I love going to festivals and seeing live music. I enjoy films that make me cry and make me think, as well as exciting action films and can often be found at the local arts cinema. I am constantly saying I need to read more, I do love books but somehow manage to only get through about 3 per year. I would usually chose books that icons descriptions of culture or other countries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Whilst traveling I volunteered in Uganda teaching children, and also helped set up a charity helping street kids in Kampala very of the streets and living in a home and get back into school. This is still running now.
