ABOUT ME

I have just set off on a 2year trip around Latin America with my 4year old son. Currently we're in Colombia but we're slowly heading south before returning to here once again(I've absolutely fallen in love with the country and people here) and then working our way up north.

I've spent 4 years on the road before having my baby, traveled Asia and Africa, lived in Scotland and Australia and lost my heart and soul to New Zealand.

Besides several short trips ( mainly within Europe)
we have been giving the 'normal' life a go for the last 3years but now the time has come for me to show my wee one what the world has got to offer :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

More surfing than hosting to begin with, hosting when we had our own home and now back to surfing since we live the nomadic life once more

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far it's been mainly positive, great way to get off the beaten track and experience local life :)

Interests

Like most people here I'm a passionate traveler, I love getting to know people and their different cultures and different ways of living.
I'm very much into wild life and people photography but I still got so much to learn about it,too.
I love everything extreme (skydiving, scuba diving, rafting, canyoning,...)
and I can't wait to take my son on those adventures as well :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I hardly watch any movies at all but I'm always open for suggestions, current favourites are
Wild ,180degrees south, Moana, Weit, and all of David Attenboroughs documentaries

I enjoy all sorts of alternative music, from punk to ska to reggae as well as rock'n roll and i love indigenous songs from all over the world

reading anything i get recommended (I loved Shantaram) - I like a good novel just as much as books that help my personal growth

I've learned to love myself and to love life and live and appreciate it the best way I possibly can

Teach, Learn, Share

Travel stories, language practise, tips on traveling with a baby/ toddler

I'm always happy to find a diving/ rafting/ yoga buddy as well or someone who wants to tick things of the bucket list with me :)

Also if you play an instrument (especially the guitar) or you can cook or know about photography or want to help Sammy and I to improve our Spanish that'd be awesome! :)

Or whatever else you're interested in doing together, I'm pretty much up for anything!
