My name is Melica, you can call me Mel ;)
let me tell you something about myself and my motivations.
First, I travel and do couch surfing because I love the freedom and I want to experience the stories from the perspective of the people. This is real and authentic, no guided journey can give you that experience. It has been my experience that the media in my country never tell the truth about another country. That it is only about politics and negative that it is about orientalising something else and classifying it as foreign. That's sad. I want to see it from my own perspective.
Second, I am a very minimalist person. I live in a small apartment in Tehran (Iran ) and need little to feel good.
That means if you want to host me, I'm not satisfied with anything, I do not need luxury and no western standards. ;)🤞🤘

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As the one who preserves the couch, I would like to meet up people in my country and help them however I can in order to prepare them a great time while their stay in my country. I understand it means so much once you know you have someone who you can depend on. Most of the tourists I've met so far weren't informed of the possibility of buying almost everything online in Iran, the bus ticket, the phone credit, taxi, clothes, food, anything...

As a surfer, looking for other travelers who have the same travel plans as mine. Looking for hosts who'd be interested in hosting. letting me know the best spots, how to take advantage of my time, best tips only come from locals, not any book or weblog. I believe you can enjoy anywhere you are if you have a good match.

Interests

When you’re doing something you enjoy, it’s easier to pay attention and feel motivated🤜🤛
Every next moment of life is interesting. Filled with mystery.
Well here are a list of things I can go with:
1. I have a " LIFE " and I'm living. :)
2. FOOD. :p what's better than filling a hungry stomach. ( food is happiness ).
3. MOVIES. The whole concept of movies is to make the ' impossible ' to the ' possible ' ;) there are to many good movies to watch and be inspired!
4. PASSION. Be it work or play. Possibly anything ( GOOD ) that makes me happy.
5. EXPLORING. We are human beings and it's only one life, and a very big world. Explore places, meet new people. Because there is so much to learn and know.
6. PAINTING. I like mixing colors and it relaxes me. It helps me concentrate.
7. READING. Reading the book gives me the opportunity to immerse myself in different worlds
8. Desire to achieve goals in life. Be it smart or big. Having goals will always make life interesting.
9. Being a better person than who I am today. And how to be a better person . Being happy and spreading love <3 :)

Have you ever heard about the book "small black fish"?
It's a legendary book in my country the protagonist is a fish it asked an impressive question which is " does life mean to go and come back in a small place until getting old or can we live in the other way in this world? "
we can all ask ourselves this question. I definitely agree with the black fish's decision. My opinion we can make our dreams become true by traveling and enjoy our life.))
