About Me

I was introduced to CS when a fellow CSer brought it up when I was talking about my travel plans. So I am new to this particular community, but not new to staying with friends of friends or relatives of friends that I’ve never met. So finding strangers in a crowd looking for me is not new.

I am about to spend three months in Europe. My goal for this trip is to document while solo traveling internationally. Places, interactions, friendships, safety. It will all be documented. It took years to get to a level of comfortability (and a level of not giving any fucks) to travel outside of the United States of America. I have taken a couple trips outside the country but was always with a group. Now I am embarking on a three month, solo, “find myself” journey and I truly hope to make other CSers a part of this. Join me. If you are able to host, I will find my way to you in Europe. To living authentically!

I love meeting people from all over and figured CS would be a great way to do so. Hoping to connect with many people on here. I enjoy cooking and have no problem chipping in with that while staying with any hosts. So much to learn and see and I am ready to explore more outside of North America.

For my international friends/hosts and future friends/hosts: I understand the stigma of Americans. I do not stand for hate, violence, racism, anti LGBTQIA+, or any other inequities or injustices that is heavily portrayed and perpetuated in the media. Spread love. Be kind. One love.

Also #SSDGM and 420/cannabis/weed consumer (it is recreationally legal where I live).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly to meet great and amazing people, but also trying new foods, adventuring for new experiences, and meeting some incredible people with multiple commonalities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an avid reader and music/podcast listener. I enjoy fiction, non-fiction, autobiographies, and thrillers. My music likes depends on my mood. Spotify knows me pretty well and comes up with great playlists based on what I like and listen to. Definitely need to expand my likes though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have bungee jumped off the tallest bridge on the west side of the United States. I have ziplined over the forest canopy in Mexico. I have hiked many hikes in Washington State (USA). I have had fresh coconut cut from the tree on the beaches of Dominican Republic.

I am open to creating great stories in my lifetime!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share some vegan/vegetarian recipes. I have been vegan-dominant for the last seven years and vegetarian for over ten years before that.

And share my travel experiences, my life experiences, and my hopes and dreams. And listen intently to yours while we smoke a joint or drink some wine as the sun begins to set. I’m open to either, neither, both or whatever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to help cook. Would love to learn what you like. I am more vegan leaning, but when I travel I allow myself to indulge.

I have some pretty funny stories I can also share. And since I travel light and am not always able to carry gifts from my home to share with my hosts, I do send thank you packages once I am home to my hosts. With items from my hometown/area. Specialized as best as I can to each host!
