Hi!

I'm Melissa, but my friends call me Mel. I love being at home with my cats but also love to travel and I easily make an other place my home. I travel with an open mind and lots of curiosity. I appreciate all different cultures and love to experience how people live.

I'm what they call, a foodie. So when I'm away is think it's important to eat local food. Also when there's a kitchen I always try making something traditional. I'm a vegetarian, which I think, makes me very creative with food.

I'm not the biggest party animal when I travel, but here in Belgium I can take you out.

I always try to do some museums because I really love art. Walking and getting lost is my main activity when I travel.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Mmm, why? Because it's a good way of traveling. You meet the locals, make new friends. It's a total different experience than staying in a hostel or hotel.
