Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know other people. I like to see the culture and lifestyle of the natives. :-)

I'm especially interested to get to know people from native english speaking countries especially US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, Ireland. I also would love to get to know people from South Africa, Scandinavian Countries and many more. If you're around just write me. Maybe we can hang and do something fun in Nuremberg.

I'm a big fan of the United States. My goal is to have visited every State. So far I've been there 7 times. I love the UK and Ireland. In 2013 my sister and me did a round trip with a coach through Ireland, which was really cool. On my bucket list is also visiting Australia again, New Zealand and more of Canada.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of the books I really enjoyed is the Hunger Games Series and Harry Potter. You can just leave reality for a moment and forget about everything else. The best book and most hilarious book I've read has been 'Domestic Godess' by Kinsella. She's one of my favourite writers.

I listen to all kinds of music. Mostly I listen to rock (not metal tho), R'n'B, Hip Hop, Rap. I'm a total 90s fan. My favourite band is Simple Plan and my favourite artist Macklemore. I like going to concerts and festivals. I love the atmosphere of people hanging together, drinking a couple of beers and sharing their stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing that was pretty decent was swimming with a dolphin. I'm an aunt of the cutest little kiddos. In this case I didn't do anything. :P

Teach, Learn, Share

I always wanted to learn the bagpipe. I have a practice chanter. I'm not ambitious enough to actually learn it since I can't make a decent tune .
