Hi I am Mel and I am 30 years old and from Ellesmere Port, UK. I am currently on an extended honeymoon with my wife Jen who is from Liverpool.We recently got married in Las Vegas after a few months of cycle touring around Europe. We are now headed to California and then on to Japan. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the best way to travel is by meeting people, this is also why I often choose to travel by bicycle as it allows me time to really get to know people and the places they call home! I believe in the spirit of community and Couch surfing is a wonderful way of creating friends from all around the world.

My favourite movies are Heat, Blade Runner and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Jen is a huge music fan and loves all genres, but especially rock!
My favourite books are High Fidelity, Christmas Carol, and the Hobbit and Jen really loves crime novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and Jen cycled from Venice to Munich the long way round and raised over 1000 pounds for the diabetes UK charity.
