About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To put priority list in new order. At least thinking a lot about it and having fun meanwhile ;)

ABOUT ME

By now I’m living a quite “normal” life – studied, got a first job, a second job, moved to my favorite city in Germany and live here for 5 years.

I try to travel a lot, but that’s kind of limited with a maximum of 30 days vacation for 1 year.

Luckily I have my beloved VW-Bus; he (actually it’s a she!) gives me the great freedom to travel a lot in summer for the weekends. I do kitesurfing and love the sea and nature. As the sea is just a drive of max. 2 hours from Hamburg, I go there every weekend in the summer, living in my bus, meeting my friends and new people and we go surfing together. Perfect life for 2 days out of 7 a week  But the ratio a bit too little. I really think I need to change priorities.

I started to travel once a year far away to get to know other countries and cultures, meeting nice people, snowboard and kite everywhere I’m dreaming of.
But to quit the job, and travel for one year as snowboard/kitesurfing teacher and see the great spots for my passion is the REAL big dream. It’s kind of in progress ;)

My next “long journey” will start soon and the destination ist Canada. I’ll fly to Vancouver and will fly back -3weeks later- from Calgary.

I’m very interested to meet other people while I’m in Canada as I could image to come back and live+work there for a longer period. So exchanging minds with people who are inspired by their passions in the same way would be very great! No matter if for couchsurfing or just a drink, everything is well appreciated!

PHILOSOPHY

No butter, no unreal persons (insider, haha :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started & never did it before. But lived (and still live) in different flat shares with other people and therefore very used to live together with other people. I like to visit other people and would love to host people, aswell.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hoping to get some experience soon :)

Interests

I am pretty much interested in my favorite sports and try to do it everywhere! So this includes the sports kitesurfing/surfing and snowboarding itself as sports, and the elements needed for it. I love the sea and the mountains. There are no better places to stay at. Just sit me on a mountain and I can sit there the whole day watching the nature. The same with the sea.
I love to travel and I really like it to go in a foreign country on my own – and to meet interesting and inspiring people and their lives over there. On the other hand I really enjoy it to travel with friends with my van on the near Baltic and northern sea coast.
Music is a big interest aswell. Listening most of the time to it or sometimes playing the guitar. Trying already half time of my life to play everything I want to play on the guitar, sometimes better and sometimes worse ;)
And I love good food + good conversations. Therefore I like cooking to create nices dishes :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Mainly I listen to guitar music, like singer/songwriters, indie rock/pop bands, folk and punk is good as well. And I really love Frank Turner, he’s my favorite singer and I saw him many times live in concert, very contagious music for dancing and good moods!
Im not so much into Movies, but I enjoyed watching Night On Earth pretty much and like to watch it once in a while just to have a nice time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe a skydive in Cape Town would be likely to be written down here … but if I really thing about “amazing” its more the countless kitesurf sessions at my home spots or snowboarding powder runs with my friends.
