Hello!

My name is Mel, but you can call me Melo. The past year I have been travelling the world. I spent 6 months in south-east Asia through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. I ended up working on the beach for 3 months which was pretty freakin cool. Now, I've packed up and moved all the way over to Canada! I'm here on a working holiday so at some stage I'll be settling down and getting a job, but not just yet! This is where you come in, help me get around see this beautiful country and meet some rad new friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a completely open minded, fun, bubbly, confident little lady so staying somewhere that doesn't allow me to sink my teeth into the culture and have the best chance of getting to know some locals isn't so much my jam!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm, one, just one....

I had the pleasure of attending 4 Khmer weddings in Cambodia. The lady I worked for took me on as her own and I became apart of the family. They would take me to all their events but the most amazing ones were the CRAZY weddings. I felt very special to have been invited and they sure as hell didn't disappoint.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a tonne of funny stories, have a wine if you so please, cook some yummy dinners and look after any cute little animals you might have hanging around the place.
