ABOUT ME

I play college varsity Ice hockey, club ultimate frisbee, and club rugby.
I'm an Environmental Studies and Sociology & Anthropology double major.
I hope to be an outdoor educator for kids or a park ranger in Denali National Park, Alaska. I would love to teach whitewater kayaking or canoeing/camping skills. If that doesn't work, I'm a big proponent of food politics and CSAs/organic farming. I would love to start a CSA in Alaska with raised vegetable beds. SO many lovely ideas, not enough time! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Experience a euphorically sunny day - the kind that strips away age and and stress and infirmity, and eases us into that special state of sublimity where the aspens quake and the marmots frolic and the hours and days blend into a time-erasing elixir of wonder, relaxation, and discovery. Don't just protect the trees; climb them, and reach for your mellow.

Remain young, unburdened by the worry and self-consciousness that crust on over time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am living in a college dorm right now, so there is no place to host quests, but I am a big traveler, so i'm not home much anyway. I love to meet new people and make new friends, so CouchSurfing is perfect for that.
