Hey!
My name is Melanie and I am 23 years old. I study social work and religious pedagogy in Hanover.
I like to travel and to meet new people. People say, that i am a friendly and easy going person, so i hope, that you wont be afraid to host me (I wont bring the monkey on my pic, promised!)
In my freetime I like to dance (classical dance and rock'n'Roll), beeing outside for some geocaching or to spend time with friends. I am also engaged in YMCA and i love to work with children (e.g. in summercamps or at a primary school, where i am working).
Till now, I did couchsurfing twice, but unfortunately the references disappered.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I like to travel and I wish to visit many countries. It's nice to make new friends from all over the world. I can't understand that type of tourist, which just stays at an All-Inclusive Hotel. I think you have to get in touch with locals to feel home in other countries.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have been to Ghana for three month, working at a primary School. This time has been so amazing and i have learned a lot for my life.
One day, we went to a waterfall next to a small town. We were 3 adults and 9 children from the neighborhood - all in one little Taxi. After a 30 minutes hike through the rainforest we arrived at the waterfall. This place was kind of magic and beeing there with all this children was pretty amazing.
