I'm Melanie - love art, music, animals and nature. I can't think of anything else to say here just yet.. I have a really cool cat. Her name is Cleo(patra) but everyone calls her Ms. Kitty.

I just became a volunteer aviculturist at the National Aquarium here in Baltimore and am currently learning all about tropical birds, sloths and puffins! Hope to become a licensed falconer or animal rehabber one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been dreaming of living in the PNW for about 6 years now. In 2018, I plan on making a solo trip over to the OR - WA region for the first time ever. I'm hoping to meet some amazing people and get a feel for the area.

I would also love to meet some cool people in the Baltimore area!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I raised an injured/orphaned baby squirrel this past Spring and successfully released him back into the wild in the Summer :)
