Overview
About Me
I´m an open-minded woman who loves to travel and meet new people. Travelled the world twice (solo) for each time over 1 year.
Born and raised in the Netherlands. I changed my home country after studying to live in the Alps.
🏔️I have always had a passion for mountains. In 2006 I changed country again and started living for 12 years in northern Spain. Since 2018 I´m back in Tyrol, Austria. 🇦🇹 🇪🇸 🇳🇱
🚴🏻♂️🧗🏻♀️🏊🏽♂️🎿 I´m interested in culture, how people live their life, love all kinds of sports and being active, love to read books and magazines, cooking and baking makes me happy. I don´t have a TV for years which suits me well.
I am respectful to and interested in others. Worked in tourism but also as a teacher. I would describe myself as open-minded, organized, spontaneous, helpful and kind.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎶 I don´t have one particular music style. It depends on my mood, the people I am with.
Films/Movies I like to watch in their original version. Very fond of Spanish films, film house films, real-life stories.
📚 Books... uff where to start from.. all kinds, novels, to thriller and I have also read quite some Biographies!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
* staying with my dog in Olomouc, Pavlina offered me to look after him, so I could enter churches etc.
* waking up with a message on my phone "spontaneous adventure" and saying YES! A great day with 3 young couchsurfers I´d never met before!
* St. George U.S. - though a friend I met this wonderful couple who welcomed us and showed me the most amazing spots incl. Zion National Park and Dixie Forest.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always learn from others. Love to practise the languages I speak and share my experiences, my food, my home with people.
PHILOSOPHY:
* Every journey begins with just one step
* You can always change the way you see people
* Silence is music too
* Live your dreams, don´t dream your life
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer my sofa in the living room. The bedroom and bathroom we have to share. I live in an rental apartment. It´s a quiet family house were we respect each other.
I am not interested to host people who want to come to party or are looking for a cheap wintersport holiday.
There´s plenty of accommodation for that around.
