Aspiring social and digital media marketer for the progressing music industry. I want to begin traveling and getting out of the Midwest more so I can build a network of positive connections around the world. Starting with Niagara Falls, CA in late August 2016, I want to explore the country coast to coast, and eventually go abroad to Europe.
I love listening to music and going to shows! A few of my favorite bands are Enter Shikari, Set Your Goals, Awolnation, Watsky, and Astronautalis. I've been to shows around the Chicago and Milwaukee areas since 2010, and I'm eager to check out the music scenes in every place I visit.
I have been playing ultimate frisbee since my freshman year of college and I absolutely love it. It is the only sport I have played in my entire life, unless you want to count running around a soccer field at six years old with a lot of other wayward kids. I will be president of the team at Carthage for the upcoming 2016-17 academic year. Other than playing, I love going to professional games and getting involved on social media with the culture surrounding the sport.
I consider myself quite organized and clean, so I promise to leave anywhere I stay looking the same (if not better) than when I come through. I want to travel to experience life outside the Midwest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet and network with people everywhere I go! I also want to experience the different lifestyles in different places, and I think the best way to do that is through connecting with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I said above, I love listening to music and going to shows! I have been attending shows since 2011, and I've seen tens of bands live. My favorite bands are Enter Shikari, Set Your Goals, Awolnation, Watsky, and Astronautalis. I would love to go to shows everywhere I visit to get a feel of the music scene in the area.
Although I'm not graced with Netflix, I love watching movies. My favorites are Charlie Bartlett, Star Trek, The Big Short, Back to the Future trilogy, Without a Paddle, Horrible Bosses, and Dead Poets Society.
I haven't done much reading lately, but my favorite books are The Catcher in the Rye (Salinger), The Great Gatsby (Fitzgerald), John Dies at the End (Wong), Someday This Pain Will be Useful (Cameron), and How to Ruin Everything (Watsky).
