Overview
About Me
I am an Associate Choral director at a high school in Texas. I am a graduate of The University of Tulsa where I finished my degree in Vocal Performance with a minor in Education. I've sung all my life, and it is what I love to do. Mostly, I sing classical music, but I can jam along with the radio any day.
Good food and local music are my favorite things to find in a new city. Everywhere I go, I want to explore the authenticity of the community - what makes the city original. I haven't had the opportunity to travel too often, so I'm hoping that because I will be a teacher with summers and regular school breaks, I will get to see more of the world.
I am constantly trying to be a better version of myself. In the past year I have grown tremendously and learned so much about myself. I strive to be more compassionate and loving in everything I do. I hope that traveling will teach me even more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think staying with locals and meeting people in different places is so important. How can I really get a feel for what a city is about from a hotel with other foreigners? Couchsurfing seems the best way to hang with locals and really experience the best of a new place.
I have stayed with two different hosts couch surfing and I loved the experience!
