Overview
About Me
Hey, my name is Mel.
I'm a photographer and documentary film maker from the UK. My documentaries explore subcultural discourse, activism and social transformation.
I have lived in the Panamanian jungle, working in conservation, sustainable innovation & media. Last year I worked across much of Europe with a focus on squatters rights in Holland, making a subsequent film on the Landbowbelang in Maastricht. I'm currently on a trip to India to work with the UN in Assam under a project dedicated to empowering women in rural areas through media communications.
But along the way, myself and my partner are making documentaries and photo-journalism projects on all forms of activism, cultural discourse and social change. My partner Dom, is a social anthropologist, dedicated to understanding political ecology, indegenious human rights and conservation.
We are wanting to meet with people who challenge the norms, live authentically and are typically wonderful human beings.
Link up with us if you fancy meeting we skate too, so if you do let's hang and if not, let's get you out and cruising. 🌌
