Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is "Looking for Alaska" by John Green
I like listening to any kind of music, but I enjoy dancing to Raggae Music
My favorite movie, that´s hard... I watched "the Notebook" and "A Knight´s tale" about a hundred times, but I also like "Guardians of the Galaxy" a lot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I went to Mexico over New Year´s eve with three of my friends. We stayed in Playa del Carmen, close to Cancun. We slept at a guys place who we only met two times before and he was a wonderful host! We slept in the bedroom that him and his sister shared and two of us each shared one single bed, while him and his sister slept on the floor. His name was Osvaldo and he showed us everything there is to see, we went snorkeling with turtles, we went swimming in one of the cenotes, he took us to Maya ruins and temples, we had a road trip, we drove around in golf carts on an island and we went out, we had good food and it´s just a wonderful country. Even though it was not the most comfortable trip I ever had, it was still maybe the best vacation I ever went on and I will always remember how generous and helpful Osvaldo and his family were to people he only met 2 times before. I´m very thankful for that experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you some German and definitely share the german culture with you :) I want to get to know more cultures and influences from all over the world and would love to learn how to cook some traditional dishes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Definitely a nice meal and an open mind, maybe my home for a stay, too, as soon as I´m back in Germany and have decided where I want to go to study. A few stories maybe about how it is to live in a Jewish family with 2 gay hostdad`s for a year.
