I'm just a German girl who lives her Canadian dream. 🍁

Since August 2018 I'm an Au Pair in Chilliwack. I love to spend time with my three little host kids and we have a lot of fun together. 👧🏻👦🏻👦🏻

I love to travel around the world and I think traveling makes everyone happy. 🗺
Since I'm in Canada, I learned a lot about culture and lifestyle and I could figure out that everything is different, yes even the people...
I feel like I found a new home country and I would love to stay here forever...
I was able to see so many different places and I want to see more and more more. Every place has something special, something that make me smile! ❤️
Unfortunately I have to go back to Germany in August but before I go back I would love to see more places and to meet new people! If someone ask how I would describe my year in Canada, then I couldn't give an answer. I would look at this person with some tears in my eyes and say "It was incredible. I can't describe it with words but I felt like I was home."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel is my passion and I would love to see the world and earn new cultures experiences. But you only can learn about a different cultures if you live in that country and if you are connected to locals. If you think it isn't necessary to know locals to immerse yourself in another culture then you probably just watch a movie, search for pictures on Google and tell everyone how awesome your traveling was. 😉

Long talk, short sense (I think it's a German saying😂) I would love to meet new people and learn about new cultures!

Interests

My dog and I went to the International Mixbreed Championship in Agility and we got Team World Champions 2017. Words couldn't describe how exciting this sport is... You have to finish an obstacle course as fast as possible and without faults. You only get one chance. Up to hundreds of people watch you and you have a dog by your side.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right know I reading the book "Au Pairs". It's novel about three girls who watch little kids while they have to deal with a lot of Drama. Life. Love. Friendship.
You wanna know how a Au Pair Life is? Just read this book and you will know it, it describes my current life perfectly!

I like to listen to any kind of Musik. To Disney songs with my kids, to country music on a roadtrip, to Russian or German songs with my friends, to the charts in the nightclub or to Justin Biber in the shower. 🎶

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was my best friend's 19th birthday and we celebrated it in Vancouver. We drove through the city in white limousine while we sipped 200$ champagne... 🥂

I would love to share my European lifestyle with you. But to be honest, my heart and mind have changed and now I'm more a Canadian girl with a few German characteristics...
