Welcome!

I am German-Polish, and grew up in the bavarian alps close to Austria. Spend some time avoiding education in London, South East Asia and Australia, where I couchsurfed (and "hung out") a lot. Now reality has caught up and I'm facing the responsible Uni life in a cozy, rainy town in the north of the netherlands. Soon, you'll find me studying on the shores of Bali though!

I am generally open minded and respectful, tidy, (anti) social, love a good sense of sarcasm and a laugh. I can be quite relaxed but I do also have - maybe some might say "typical German" characteristics :D

Side note: Unfortunately I am not gifted to be able to be around people 24/7, so I usually try to have a nice balance of socializing and anti socializing when surfing or hosting - hope that is okay with you.

Second side note: I've made many great memories on couchsurfing, that I would've never had without it, but also a few weird ones. It is always important to trust your guts!!! Oh and please:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to learn, grow and evolve. Always challenge myself to "SteP ouT of My ComforT ZonE", even if it’s only baby steps. Love to find out about interesting things you can't find on google. At the same time I'm a broke student, so couchsurfing is usually a win-win-win-win! *

Interests

I consider myself a wannabe creative. I have many interests, mostly all over the place and I like to hop from one to another. In generally I’m into music, travelling, languages, photography, art, poetry, (vegetarian) food and drinking. I adore discovering new eats, bars and cafés, with the same or with new people or alone. Generally, just enjoying my time, which can also be a relaxing day/night in all byyyyyy myseeeeeeeeeeelf!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is like my personality - all over the place. I'll listen to mostly anything, perhaps with a bigger focus on indie/alternative/rock music, but it depends on my day (or month?) too. I went through a metal, punk-rock and techno phase (even though that one was very brief) and I have a soft spot for cheesy pop, don't judge me. Oh and I've learned some Spanish through latin canciones de corazonnnnn for a period.

Concerning books and movies I’ll be happy with whatever keeps me on my toes in some way! Don’t give me a reason to fall asleep haha. Oh and don’t ask „have you seen “ because I most likely haven’t. It’s tough catching up nowadays!
