About Me

I believe everyone deserves to be heard and loved. I'm a naturally curious, joyous person that loves meeting new people and exploring new places!

I moved to Boston from California over five years ago and have quickly fallen in love with the people and historic charm of the city. I helped start this group called Tea with Strangers in Boston where hosts meet a group of 5 strangers in coffee shops to have honest, genuine conversation. It has brought so much happiness to my life!

My mother's from Peru, and I recently became fascinated with the culinary traditions there after my boyfriend, my parents, and I went to Peru in 2016. I love to cook!

People say that I have a knack for connecting with strangers quickly. It might be because I rarely perceive people as strangers, but rather potential dear friends.

One of my biggest blessings moving to Boston was falling in love with my wonderful boyfriend, Eamon. We've traveled many places together, including Canada, Ireland, Peru, Germany, and the Netherlands. We love meeting new people and making friends from all backgrounds.

I hope we meet someday!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love classic Cole Porter songbook-type music. Ella Fitzgerald is my favorite singer of all time. I also love pop music, instrumental jazz, and hip hop.

Movies: Finally got into watching all of the Star Wars lovings. A New Hope is my favorite!

Books: Currently reading "Crossing the Unknown Sea" by David Whyte. It's a book about work, and its meaning, by a poet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Ghana in college I walked across this canopy walk at Kakum National Park. The bridge is suspended 100 feet above the ground, basically the width of a 2x4' plank of wood, and wobbled like crazy the entire time. I feared for my life the entire 20 minutes, but the view was absolutely worth it!

Something else I've done is run a medical clinic in a school in Honduras with friends from my undergrad!
