ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Mel and I am a fellow traveller and couchsurfer. I'm currently living in the Indonesian rainforest doing research on Orangutan behaviour. My next destination is the Philippines, then Back to Aust where I'll be opening up my place to fellow couchsurfers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a couchsurfer for two years now and I have to say that some of my closest friends today, I've met through couchsurfing or are couchsurfers themselves!

Interests

I have many interests but I shall just simplify them to being everyday happenings that makes me smile. These range from jungle trekking and scuba diving to hanging out and interacting with other travellers and locals. I love listening to and sharing stories!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most memorable experience was motorbiking alone throughout North Vietnam and being hosted by hill tribe families along the way. Helps being able to speak the language!
