CURRENT MISSION
The pursuit of adventure
ABOUT ME
Free-spirited, easy-going college student and proud Seattleite trying to experience as much of the wide world as possible on a shoestring budget. My ambitious life goal is to eat, dance and trek around the entire globe before I'm old and grey - collecting stories, meeting fascinating people and relishing in the excitement of the unknown. I love mint tea, spicy food, travel books, sci fi movies and the sea. I'm quirky and sarcastic and nocturnal and always up for something new!
PHILOSOPHY
"The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I mostly listen to indie and classic rock, but I love everything from jazz to EDM to reggae.
Especially fond of The Shins, Radiohead, The Black Keys, Simon + Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Iver, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Smiths, The xx, Fleetwood Mac, etc...
Movies: Lord of the Rings (I completely nerd-out over the entire series and am 100% proud of that), Into the Wild, Inception
Books: Poisonwood Bible, Life of Pi, On the Road, Water for Elephants, Alice in Wonderland, The Perks of Being a Wallflower
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking through Paradise Valley in Mount Rainier one gorgeous, sunny summer weekend during the peak of wildflower bloom. I realize I sound like a complete hippie in saying this, but feeling that close to nature was probably the most spiritual experience of my entire life.
ALSO:
- Experiencing Las Fallas, the craziest and most mind-blowing festival on earth (in my humble opinion) in Valencia, Spain
- Stargazing in the Negev desert during my stay at a Berber camp
- Getting up close + personal with elephants (my favorite animal, besides cats) in Thailand
- Getting up at 6am to practice yoga on the beach in Bali during the rainy season
Travel has afforded me so many amazing, enriching and inspirational experiences, I simply can't choose just one!
