ABOUT ME

I was born in Charleroi but I now live in Brussels. I studied English and Russian in a translation school and I'm now studying Chinese. I lived a semester in Edinburgh, Scotland (Erasmus program) in 2001 and one year in Voronezh, Russia in 2003-2004. I visited China twice and I'd like to go to South-East Asia. I like partying and meeting new people.

My purpose here is to meet people from all around the world. I'd be glad to show Brussels and I'm always up for a drink! I'm mostly available during the weekends or after 6 during the week. My flat is not yet ready to accommodate people but will be soon! :)

Traveling of course! I love Asia and Eastern Europe, languages, cinema (I sometimes subtitle movies for film festivals), literature, food (and beverage :)), swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite authors are Haruki Murakami, Andrey Kurkov, Daniel Pennac and Lao She. I love the movies from Pedro Almodovar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling through China was a great experience. In 2001 I did the pilgrimage of Santiago de Compostella (765 km on foot), which was a unique experience as well (though very hard and tiring). In 2006, I observed the presidential elections in Dushanbe, Tadjikistan and had the opportunity to meet very interesting people.
